Athletics

I don't like running because i don't have enough energy.  I do like High Jump because i like landing on the giant blue mat.  I feel great about doing athletics tomorrow.  I hope i get a point for each one.

In maths we are learning about time.

My favourite time is o'clock and half past and quarter to and quarter past. 

I think that the time is cool.

The kite was zooming across the sky like a rocket. It was spinning like a tornado in the sky and zooming across the sky spinning like a rocket. Zooming across the sky like a  zooming tornado in the sky like a burning meteor.

My helicopter is speeding across the sky like a rocket it sped across the sky and my helicopter was spinning like a tornado. There were mixing colours in the sky. My helicopter was whispering in the sky.

Writing Reflection

Our Assembly

The best part of my assembly was when I read my Ice King poem and sharing my mask.

My mask reflection

We made masks to represent ourselves.
I enjoyed being creative.
My mask has a maori headband because I like kapa haka.
I drew a pencil for one of my eyes. My favourite colours are red, blue and green so I used those colours for the base of my mask.
Next time I will use a different colour for my mask.

Yesterday we did  sugar crystals and we  got a cup and puored it in the cup. Then we put it on the window to let it set.

The glow worm life cycle

The female fly lays about 120 eggs.

The pupa lives for 2 weeks and then hatches into an adult fly.

 I was very nervous going into the caves. I liked the boat ride through the caves because I like the glow worms hanging from the top of the cave. I also enjoyed the giant stalactite hanging down. I also liked the giant monster on the wall, you have to use your imagination.
